Service Experts buys The Pink Plumber, transferring its Tampa plumbing operation
What happened. In the same September 2018 round as Midway Services of Clearwater, Service Experts acquired The Pink Plumber, a residential and commercial plumbing company founded in 1991 by Geoff Gillon and operating in three markets — Atlanta, Tampa and Dallas — with septic services in Atlanta. The transaction moved a branded Tampa Bay residential plumbing operation into national ownership. Across the three companies announced that day Service Experts added roughly 247 employees and 184 service vehicles. Terms were not disclosed.
