Rentokil buys Tampa-based Environmental Pest Service and its five brands
What happened. Rentokil North America acquired Tampa-headquartered Environmental Pest Service, the $82 million, No. 15 PCT Top 100 platform behind Arrow Environmental Services, Bug Out Service, Skyline Pest Solutions, State Pest Control and Smith Exterminating. EPS ran about 30 branches with 640 employees across Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Rentokil CEO John Myers said the deal expanded service to residential and commercial customers across the Southeast; EPS CEO Shawn Lucht cited mirrored cultures. Concentric Equity Partners, an investor since 2010, exited; LR Tullius advised EPS.
