Strikepoint Group Holdings acquires Bradenton's Elite Heating and Air

What happened. Strikepoint Group Holdings acquired Elite Heating and Air, a heating, cooling and plumbing provider founded in Bradenton in 1999 by Todd Thompson and serving Sarasota and Manatee counties. It was SGH's tenth acquisition in twelve months. Thompson said 'partnering with Strikepoint was an easy decision,' and CEO Charlie Haines said the brand would 'expand our footprint in Florida.' The Elite brand was retained and later became the surviving brand for SGH's 2022 acquisition of Mr. AC Cooling & Heating. Terms were not disclosed.
