Strikepoint acquires 1959-founded Performance Air Conditioning of Largo
What happened. Strikepoint Group Holdings acquired Performance Air Conditioning, Electrical & Plumbing, a third-generation Largo contractor founded in 1959 and owned by Terry Stables, serving Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Stables said 'Strikepoint built their business on same-day service, the same as we did. That, and the smooth acquisition process, made the transition easy.' It was SGH's ninth acquisition of 2021 and was announced the same day as the Paradise Air deal, giving SGH two Largo brands at once. HVAC business broker Patrick Lange of Business Modification Group represented the seller. Terms were not disclosed.
