New St. Pete-backed platform buys Tampa's Mario's Air Conditioning & Heating
What happened. Southeastern Home Services, a newly launched platform backed by St. Petersburg family office WhitneyWilder, made its first acquisition by buying Mario's Air Conditioning & Heating, a 1997-founded Tampa Bay HVAC contractor led by president Mario Zoraja for more than 18 years. CEO Tom Birchard said the firm was 'thrilled to welcome Mario's,' and Zoraja said the platform brought 'experience, expertise, support, and strategic relationships.' Zoraja remained a partial owner and continued to lead operations, and the brand was preserved. Terms were not disclosed.
