Strikepoint acquires 1957-founded Pinellas Comfort Systems
What happened. Strikepoint Group Holdings acquired Pinellas Comfort Systems, a residential and commercial HVAC contractor operating in Pinellas County since 1957 and run by Dean, Cheryl and Greg Minton. Dean Minton said the deal let them 'ensure the company we worked so hard to build is in good hands,' while Greg Minton continued leading the business and Dean and Cheryl stepped back. CEO Charlie Haines said the brand would 'help solidify our leadership position in the Tampa and Sarasota markets.' The brand was retained. SGH described this as its 21st deal in 21 months.
