Sundog Capital forms Stryker Electric platform, acquiring Sarasota's Bay Area Electric

What happened. Independent sponsor Sundog Capital announced formation of the 'Stryker Electric' platform through the simultaneous acquisition of three electrical contractors: Stryker Electrical Contracting (Palm City, Fla.), Bay Area Electric (Sarasota, Fla.), and Edge Electric (Austin, Texas). Bay Area Electric, founded in 2006 by Mark Gatz and Jeff Kiner, performs electrical contracting for industrial, municipal, commercial/institutional and luxury residential clients across Southwest Florida, including municipal wastewater-infrastructure work. White Wolf Private Credit financed the deal with a senior secured term loan plus preferred and minority common equity co-investments; transaction value was not disclosed. It was Sundog Capital's first platform investment.
