Del-Air acquires Gator Air Conditioning in the Sarasota-Tampa corridor
What happened. Astara Capital-backed Del-Air acquired Gator Air Conditioning, a residential and light-commercial HVAC contractor with more than two decades of service in the Sarasota, Bradenton and Tampa markets, led by president James Romagnola. CEO Rick Rogers said the 'expanded presence in this market strengthens our footprint across Florida.' Romagnola said the combination would help the business 'broaden our opportunities and serve more people,' indicating leadership continuity. Sell-side advisor JTW Advisors announced the transaction separately on February 4, 2025. Terms were not disclosed.
