Skyline Roofing Partners acquires Clearwater's Classic Roofing & Construction
What happened. Atlanta-based Skyline Roofing Partners, backed by Imperial Capital, acquired Clearwater residential roofer Classic Roofing & Construction (founded 2003) in a two-company announcement that also covered John Hogan Roofing. Owner-operator Jake Babbitt kept a minority stake, stayed on running the business and joined Skyline's Founder's Council. CEO Mike Midgett said the deal deepened the platform's Gulf Coast residential presence; Babbitt called Skyline 'an outstanding partner throughout this process.' Terms were not disclosed and the brand was retained.
