Blackstone agreed to acquire Champions Group Holdings, an Orange County, California HVAC, electrical and plumbing platform, from Odyssey Investment Partners, which retained a significant minority stake. Champions reported more than 1,800 field technicians and about 150,000 active service-membership customers across tier-one metros. CEO Frank DiMarco stayed on and called the deal a defining next chapter. The parties did not disclose price; Bloomberg reported roughly $2.5 billion. Expected to close in the first half of 2026.
