Panther Service Group's first deal takes four Tampa Bay trade brands
What happened. Pearl Street Capital Partners formed Panther Service Group, a Florida-focused plumbing, HVAC and electrical platform, through a partnership with Apex Plumbing and its affiliated brands Garrett Plumbing, Mason Air Conditioning and Heating, and Green Light Electric Services, serving Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and surrounding areas. Apex president Joe Pinkert called it 'an exciting opportunity for us to partner with a local platform.' Panther says it preserves each partner's distinctive culture and intends to pursue further Florida acquisitions. Graycliff Partners completed a unitranche debt and equity co-investment supporting the acquisition on May 27, 2026, with managing director Frank Cacace saying Graycliff looks forward to supporting further Florida plumbing, HVAC and electrical acquisitions. Terms were not disclosed.
