Companies where the person whose name is on the license still owns the business. Each listing shows the public evidence. This is not an endorsement of quality — it's a statement about ownership, which you can then weigh however you like.
How we verify. A listing is "verified" only with at least two of: a Florida Sunbiz record showing local individual owners and no holding-company parent; a DBPR license held by the named owner; a company statement naming the owner; or a credible press profile. Franchises of investor-owned franchisors are excluded. Listings are re-checked every 6 months and dated. Full criteria.
