DiDomenico stayed on as president and said the deal 'will allow us to accelerate our growth both organically and with additional acquisitions in these great markets.' Wrench Group CEO Ken Haines called the Sarasota-Tampa corridor a market 'experiencing explosive growth.' The CoolToday brand was retained. Wrench used CoolToday as its Florida acquisition base: in July 2020 it bought Easy A/C of Tampa (founded 2001 by Keith Westbrook and Dave Whittington) and merged it into CoolToday under the name 'Easy CoolToday,' with Haines saying the deal 'further establishes Wrench Group in the Tampa and St. Petersburg markets.' DiDomenico later moved to a Wrench Group VP of business development role.
